One way to attract hummingbirds to your house is just by setting hummingbird feeder in the trees next to your house or even in your house walls so that you see them everyday going around your house.

Nature is beautiful and there is no wrong in wanting to have her as close as possible, as long has you do no harm. So having hummingbirds next to your front door is a plus and nobody gets hurt and you get to entertain yourself with the lives of those interesting animals.
